I got my refurbed 30 gig ZUNE for 99$ 3-4 yrs ago. besides getting a pair of porta pro's I did some research and bought this heavy duty rubber skin. I've dropped it twice while riding my bike. Thanks to this skin it's still my fav. mpe 3 player. I have a 120gb zune and have been looking for a case for a long time. After reading several reviews for this item I decided to go with it. It came today in the mail and I am happy with it. The toughskin fits the zune very well. The screen protector is cheap as mentioned in other reviews, however I wasn't buying it for that. If you want great protection for your zune your pick should be speck toughskin. I also purchased this item for a little over seventeen dollars and had free shipping. As other reviews have suggested , the screen protector is thin , challenging to apply , and not a very good thickness to provide any real protection . Using other reviews , I envisioned using the plastic insert that's fitted within the case itself . However , this plastic is about as far from clear as it gets . In fact , it has a milky translucent look to it , and it's quite unsuitable as a "window" . But there was still hope . The box that it comes in has a clear plastic window , as many packages do these days , and this works even better . Using the cardbaord pic of the Zune , as stated in other reviews , it's simple to cut the plastic to the shape of the window . The outer packaging plastic is just as thick and you can actually see through it as intended . My only other minor gripe is that the edges around the screen "bow" out giving the impression that it doesn't fit very well. I like the way the buttons and the squircle are completely enclosed and that the rubber doesn't interfere with the touch-pad at all . Even if it starts to in the future , it's gonna be very easy to use a scalpel or razor blade to cut the squircle away . -- Great case ...but
